Craft Edge has updated SCAL2 to version 2.023 to include two frequently requested features. This version gives you the option to print your files. There are two options, solid (no outlines) and just the outlines.
You can also use it to cut with Craft Robo machines (Windows version only). There is a section in the SCAL Help with more information on how to set this up. Open SCAL then from the menu, Help/Help/Basics/Cutting with CraftRobo. Here is a screen shot of the first part of it.

I can use the Craft robo just for cutting my design just including in my designs an outline? or I need to send a print of cutting in the craft robo?
In other words, can the craft robo detect alone the outlines (red or green color)to cut it so I just introduce many of similar pages with outlines to be cutted?
I don’t have a CraftRobo, but there is a section in the SCAL Help (open SCAL then from the menu, Help/Help/Basics/Cutting with CraftRobo).
Thanks Heather for all the stuff you do to keep us informed and using our equipment. Your designs are just great.
Quick question, since I have not d/l latest version. Does it allow you to do the print and cut feature with the Craft Robo and add the registration marks?
Thank you
Hi Jennifer,
I don’t have a Craft Robo, so I’m not sure about the answer. What do you use for registration marks?
Thanks for keep us informed!
Thanks for letting us know about the update. I still had the 2.012 version. You’re the best, Heather.

You are so up on things…Thank you Heather!
where is the print feature?
Hi Adrea,
The print feature is in the file menu or you can use Control P for the solid shapes.
Thank you very much, I found it!
Where do I find these updates? In their site – in the download section – I see only the old version (2.012)
Thanks a lot
Dani
Hi Dani,
Craft Edge is typically a little slow to update the version history (where it lists the version number and changes), but if you go here and click on the download link, the most recent version (2.023 for Windows) will download.
