Butterfly flap favor box svg file

Today I have a butterfly flap box for you.  Due to the score lines I did not make dxf or single layer versions of this box.  This box only requires adhesive on one side.  Fold in the double tabbed flap first, then the two flaps on each side of it, then finally slip the last flap (with the tab in the center) into the opening.

Score Lines:

I always use solid score lines since 1)  That’s what I prefer to use for my own projects, and 2)  They leave the most options open for other people.  However, you can’t use the same settings for the scoring layer as the rest of the cuts. If your program has a score setting you need to set that layer to score.   I currently use eCAL and when you tell it to score it automatically changes blade pressure to just score the surface of the paper instead of cutting through, but you can do the same with other cutters.  I used to manually change the blade depth and pressure for the scoring layer when I had a Cricut.   Just hide the score layer when you cut the rest.  If you don’t want to cut a solid score you can either convert the solid lines to dashes or hide/delete the score layer.

The download is a zip file with a layered svg file for use with SCAL2/SCAL3/eCAL.

My files are for personal use only.  Feel free to link to this post, but the files are not to be shared or distributed in any way.
