Rope border svg files

Here are two versions of a rope border.  One is for placing inside your own shape and the other is a stand-alone border that can be used as-is or welded onto another shape (ungroup first and only weld the base to your shape).  🙂

The download is a zipped folder with svg files for use in either version of SCAL. These files are for personal use only. Feel free to link to this post, but the files are not to be shared or distributed in any way.

Celtic knot border

Here are svg files for two versions of a celtic knot border.  The border file is for using as a border or welding onto your projects.  The insert file is for cutting the knot border out of your projects, or it can be welded together to make a longer border.  🙂

Chalk Artist LO

Have you considered using your cutter to make stencils instead of paper or vinyl items?  I found some old images of my son and wanted to decorate the pages with something that would look like chalk.  I used SCAL and my Cricut to cut shapes out of scrap cardstock and then inked through them onto the background pages.  The footprints are because he liked to make chalk puddles, then walk through them to make footprints all over the driveway.  🙂


Flower corner stencil svg

Here is a flower corner svg that was designed to make a 1, 2, or 3 layer stencil using SCAL 2.0.  The file would also work well for cutting in vinyl.  The flower petals, flower centers, and the leaves are on separate layers.

It can be used to cut a single layer stencil as-is with SCAL 1.0, or opened in Inkscape and the layers saved as separate files for cutting separately with SCAL 1.0.
