A decorative square svg and dxf files

July 19, 2014

I’m getting a bit bored with my selection of square files, so I thought that I would make a new one.

Bubble scalloped square svg and dxf files

Here is a file that I created for a card last week.  This file is similar to the rectangle here.

It’s like deja vu

June 6, 2014

I thought that I would share a file that I made for yesterday’s card.  You might think, “Hmmm…  This looks kind of familiar.”  You would be right.  This file is very similar to the file here, but not exactly the same.  The original file was for the inner cut and today’s file is for the mat behind the die cut.

Punched petal flower svg and dxf files

May 16, 2014

Here is another file that I made quite a while ago.  Remember all of the flowers on Pinterest where border punches were used on the edges of the petals?  This flower was my version of them.

Small scalloped oval svg and dxf files

May 5, 2014

I must confess, I was planning to post this Saturday but I forgot.  They say that the memory is the first thing to go…  Or was that the waistline?    I created this file because I wanted a scalloped oval with smaller scallops.  Hope you like it.

Scalloped egg svg file

April 12, 2014

Today I have a scalloped egg with an inner scalloped frame for you.  The dxf version didn’t work right on my new computer, so if anyone would like the dxf file let me know and I’ll try to figure out what went wrong.

Butterfly flap favor box svg file

April 5, 2014

Today I have a butterfly flap box for you.  Due to the score lines I did not make dxf or single layer versions of this box.  This box only requires adhesive on one side.  Fold in the double tabbed flap first, then the two flaps on each side of it, then finally slip the last flap (with the tab in the center) into the opening.

Score Lines:

I always use solid score lines since 1)  That’s what I prefer to use for my own projects, and 2)  They leave the most options open for other people.  However, you can’t use the same settings for the scoring layer as the rest of the cuts. If your program has a score setting you need to set that layer to score.   I currently use eCAL and when you tell it to score it automatically changes blade pressure to just score the surface of the paper instead of cutting through, but you can do the same with other cutters.  I used to manually change the blade depth and pressure for the scoring layer when I had a Cricut.   Just hide the score layer when you cut the rest.  If you don’t want to cut a solid score you can either convert the solid lines to dashes or hide/delete the score layer.
