OK, I must confess that I didn’t accomplish much this week as far as cleaning. I still haven’t gone through the kids rooms and gathered up things to be donated or outright thrown away, and I didn’t clean the carpets like they desperately need, but I did wander through some YouTube videos and finally got up the courage to try coloring a darker skin. I also picked up a little different way to select colors for shading. I’m very pleased with how my coloring turned out. Not quite as happy with my paper selection. Not sure if it’s just outside my comfort zone or if it’s just a bad choice. 
I used a Fitztown digi called “Fae 2” and the current sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

Heather your card is amazing, you’ve done a fantastic job colouring the darker skin, I’ll have to watch some video’s on U-tube as well that’s something I’ve never attempted as yet. I love your colour combo together, I wonder if you had used a smaller floral especially for the size of your card and image you would have liked it better. I think it’s really pretty and love it. I used E31, E35, E23 for the face with just a tiny bit of E0000 for some final blending in the lightest areas because I wanted more blending, but didn’t want to make the area darker. I think I used E97 for the blush.
